Pleioblastus Virdistriatus
"Variegated Dwarf Bamboo"

I am a slender and beautiful bamboo, with attractive bright yellow leaves with sharp green lines running lengthwise along them. My striking color is best against a dark green backdrop.

In full sun, my yellow will be deeper and richer, where in the partial shade, my color will be an equally stunning lime green, contrasting with the dark green stripes.

I require plenty of water, and will usually grow to a height of about 3 to 4 feet. I am extremely hardy, able to withstand temperatures of -10 degrees if heavily mulched.
