"Painted Bamboo"

I am quite a large bamboo with brilliant yellow culms painted sparingly with dark green stripes between my nodes. I can reach heights of 60 feet in optimal conditions, and I have a slightly arcing habit like a fountain. My culms can reach a diameter of 4" and are useful for building.

Because of my bright yellow color, I am quite attractive in a garden setting, especially when planted near green and balck bamboos for contrast.
