Bambusa Oldhamii Hirose
"Hirose Timber Bamboo"

I am like Bambusa Oldhamii, slightly smaller, but a better variety with stronger culm strength. I was introduced to the Big Island of Hawaii by Margaret Hirose. I'm very compact and upright, excellent as an ornamental, windbreak or for use for construction, since my culms are very straight.
