Bambusa Glaucophylla
"Malay Dwarf Variegated Bamboo"
"Taiwan Variegated Bamboo"
My variegated green and white leaves make me an unusual and spectacular bamboo. I am not particularly large, and am often used to create a strikingly beautiful hedge, as I am easily trimmed.
Some trim my lower branches to create a dense low canopy, as I can reach from 12-15 feet
in height.
Others enjoy a single planting of my tight clumping form
sometimes described as a 'fluffy snowball'
since my slender leaves with subdued and attractive variegation contrast nicely with my green culms.
